A crowd favourite with fifteen years experience, the ‘Billy T’ Award winner has been a regular feature act on TV's 'Pulp Comedy' and the last several 'TV2 Laugh! International Comedy Festival Galas'.

Mike Loder has served on a jury and can thus prove that the government did not find him ‘Mentally disordered under the Mental Health Act 1992’. You may recognize Mike’s rapid fire performances from his comedy CDs or numerous club and festival shows nation wide.

A regular on the national stand up circuit, Mike began 2000 by performing the first joke of the new millennium. A truly momentous cultural event that the government has still yet to commemorate with a stamp. His experience is wide ranging with impressive broadcast, print, corporate and live stand up credentials. Performing in venues of all sizes and to gatherings of all types. From theatres to ships. Mike Loder has written on the subject of comedy for the New Zealand Herald, Auckland Magazine and many more. His recently released book "The Guide" for teenagers, published by Hodder Moa has been a great hit.

Mike also performs as a voice artist and has written comedy material for several radio and television shows. Including a serial broadcast daily by 50 radio stations nation-wide.

Mike can also provide a very unique teambuilding opportunity. Because he teaches comedy to new and established comedians Mike can be brought in to the conference programme to energise and teach comedy. Best straight after lunch Mike gives a 20 minute presentation on the "how to" of comedy and then breaks the audience into workshops to develop a 5 minute comedy routine. One person from each workshop then delivers this routine to the audience. A great teambuilding exercise. Can be completed in one hour.
