| John McGough: Live Musician A former New Zealand National champion, John is now one of the country's
finest cabaret instrumentalists providing music on both Trumpet and Flugal Horn as well as
vocals. John has also been awarded for his
talents as a professional entertainer winning a Scroll of Honour for his
achievements in the New Zealand Entertainment Industry presented by the Variety Artists
Club of New Zealand.
Performing in cabaret style, providing back ground music, or music for
dancing, classic covers are performed from well known artists as well as
the trumpet favourites from the likes of Louis Armstrong, Herb Alpert
and Eddie Calvert. All played in a style that is very much John McGough.

Commitments, Van Morrison, Stevie Wonder are favourites with the crowd.
John works with backing tracks
recorded on CD making him much more economical to hire than a band.

If you are looking for a DJ that says nothing and hides
behind a desk playing discs, John is not the guy for your function. John
gets involved playing New Zealand’s top 40 sounds as well as the dance
favourites. His ability to read a crowd and sense what time in the
evening requires the right music is often commented upon by his
customers. He loves what he does and it shows. His enthusiasm for your

John performs over 100 jobs per year as a DJ. John can
be seen at a number of Auckland’s top bars, restaurants and function

shopping mall and car dealership promotions. John takes the time to
research what you want communicated and delivers it in a clear
professional manner. John has hosted the Royal Easter Show, Auckland
City Council events and National tours for both the junior and senior
National Bands of New Zealand. John has voiced radio commercials,
narrated over music scripts, and is equally at home fronting your event
in a live situation.
