Specialising in almost all styles of dance, the Candy Lane Dancers are a unique & versatile company that will add an outstanding level of professionalism and entertainment to any event

Note: Shows vary in length but are approx. 25 - 35 minutes duration. The shows can be performed as one show or broken into 2 parts. Naturally shows can be tailored to suit your needs.
All shows involve professional male and female dancers. Content of shows may change due to updating with new routines.

Our Director, Candy LaneOur Director CANDY LANE is a dynamic and energetic person. She has spent her life training, competing, performing, choreographing and producing quality entertainment both here and overseas. She began her training in New Zealand and by the age of 15 had won every title available to her. She travelled to London to further her training and represented New Zealand for 10 years on the World Ballroom and Latin American dance circuit. At 18 Candy became the youngest ever winner of the Australian and South Pacific Professional Championships and was the first New Zealander to make both the Ballroom and Latin American finals in one of the most prestigious events in dancing. "The Rising Stars British Open to the World Championships”. A qualified adjudicator, Candy has judged international and world events. As a teacher she has been responsible for training many top competitive dancers. Candy played the lead role of Anita for 2 years in "Westside Story" at Her Majesty’s Theatre on London’s West end, chosen for the role by Leonard Bernstein himself and subsequently sang and danced at London’s Barbican Hall at his tribute. Candy has also performed for the Royal Family. Candy also performed in the New Zealand tour of Chicago. Candy is Director of this highly successful dance company she formed in 1990. Trained in singing, acting and most dance styles, Candy’s vast experience and training has made the Candy Lane Dancers the most versatile and professional company in the business. Candy Lane is now a household name due to her role as Co-host on New Zealand's top rating TV show "Dancing with the Stars" for which she was also the Dance Advisor. Candy has also been Dance Director on TV shows "Stars in their Eyes" and "Singing Bee" which also featured the fabulous "Candy Lane Dancers" doing what they do best – dancing!
