Acts can be hired as already
choreographed or completely new pieces devised to suit your event, the
same applies to costuming.
Average performance time for each apparatus is between 5 and 8 minutes.
Acts can be combined and/or devised to cover any amount of time and
staggered throughout an event. There isn’t anywhere where we can’t do
something! Inside, outside, high and low, far and wide.
We have a number of performers to draw on for bigger pieces – aerialists,
acrobats, dancers and other highly skilled groups and individuals.
Aerial Tissu/Silks
Performed on two lengths of fabric and often described as aerial
Ballet; flexible split holds, fast roll downs, drops and foot spins
- A range of different coloured fabrics
- UV light performances on black or white tissue are exceptionally
visual
- 1 to 6 tissu performers available for any performance
- Video projections are an effective option for tissu as the fabric
picks up images well
Ground area required: 3 metres square
Minimum ceiling height: 4.5m with a rigging point able to take
1000kg. The higher the rigging point, the more spectacular the
performance.
Spanish web (Rope)
The artist puts their hand and/or foot in a loop that is attached to a
rope. The rope with the artist is then spun at high speed. Flexible
holds and roll downs are also performed on the rope.
Minimum 2 performers (1 ground based)
Ground area required: 5 metres square
Minimum ceiling height: 4.5m able to take 1000kg as above.
Static trapeze
The artist twists turns and drops around the bar and ropes. This is an
elegant and dynamic display of aerial acrobatics.
- Available as a double routine
Aerial Harness
A full body
harness attached either to static rope with a counter balancer
(climber) or a bungee. Movement can be slow and graceful or fast and
dynamic. Aerialist(s) can perform at one height or be counterbalanced
with a climber for more dynamic movement allowing use of the floor as
well as the air.
- Costuming can be a lot more elaborate due to not having to climb.
UV Light Effects
We have a great collection of costumes and props that suit being lit with UV lights for a futuristic effect or Outer Space themed functions.
German Wheel
A human sized mouse wheel where the performer has their feet strapped
in and holds on to handles performing graceful coin like spins, and
rolling tricks..
Here we are performing on the red carpet at the premiere of Lord of
the Rings in Wellington, New Zealand.
