Christie Lamb was announced as The Most Impressive New Talent on Country Music Radio Australia in 2012. She is a high energy, passionate performer with an engaging personality who never fails to impress. Her music showcases a unique style with a powerful rich vocal and a strong ‘earthy’ feel.

Christie has already performed for the then Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, and at the 10th Anniversary of the Sydney Olympic Games.

Notably, Christie was one of two vocalists chosen from 6,000 NSW students to perform in THE 2009 HSC ENCORE CONCERT at the Sydney Opera House with her own composition.

She has also performed many times at Sydney Entertainment Centre as pre-show entertainment for international artists such as James Taylor, Carole King, Cat Stevens, Evanescence, Meatloaf and Thirsty Merc, as well as performing as a Featured Artist in Schools Spectacular at Sydney Entertainment Centre. Christie has also shared the stage with some of our best Country Artists including Gina Jeffreys, Adam Harvey, Beccy Cole, Catherine Britt, The McClymonts and Felicity.

After being voted the Most Popular New Independent Artist at The Meet n Greet Country Awards in Tamworth 2012, Christie travelled to Nashville where she featured on the Australian Tomkins Showcases daily during the CMA Festival, songwriters’ showcases and also at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville on Broadway with Adam Harvey and O’Shea at Travelworld Tamworth’s luncheon. Christie also wrote with many esteemed writers in preparation for her debut album.

Upon her return to Australia Christie began a 55 date nationwide tour as the lead female vocalist/guitarist/pianist in the Rock Revolution Show starring Jon English.

Christie was a finalist in The Southern Stars - Australian Independent Country Music Awards 2012 nominated in Australian Independent Rising Star Female category.

Christie’s debut single “Mr. Wrong” peaked at #3 for two weeks on Country Tracks Top 30 and remained in the top 5 singles for seven weeks and the Top 30 for eighteen weeks. “Mr. Wrong” also climbed to #4 on Mildura Hot FM and was the tenth biggest hit of 2012 on Country Tracks Top 30. Following the huge success of her debut single, Christie released “Invincible Me” to radio, which peaked at # 6 on Country Tracks Top 30, # 5 on Cool Country’s Weekly Top 10, # 3 on Hot Country QLD and # 1 on Hot FM Mildura.

Christie was voted Most Promising Future Star at the Australian Country Music People’s Choice Awards in Tamworth 2013 and was one of the four Grand Finalists in Toyota Star Maker. Christie’s plans for 2013 include a writing trip to Nashville, recording her much anticipated debut album and plans are underway for more touring later in the year.

DUO

Christie Lamb and Jonathan English create a very polished duo and have played at many venues, performing a great variety of music and are the ultimate entertainment package.

With an engaging personality and passion for music, Christie is an energetic and proactive
performer who never fails to impress. Christie has achieved a great deal in her own right as a
singer/songwriter and was named ‘Most Impressive New Talent’ on Country Music Radio for
2012, with her debut singles reaching number 1 and number 3 on Country Music Radio.

Christie has also performed and written with many esteemed writers in Nashville and was voted Most Promising Future Star at the Australian Country Music People’s Choice Awards in Tamworth 2013. Christie was also the lead female vocalist, guitarist and pianist in the Jon English Rock Revolution Show performing in 55 shows across Australia.

Jonathan has written, recorded and toured for several bands & artists around Australia and
on the international stage. He is a multi- instrumentalist at an exceptional level and also a talented vocalist.  The eldest son of Australian icon Jon English, Jonathan has been heavily involved in the music industry since childhood, both on stage and behind-the-scenes.
