About Us

With offices in both Australia and New Zealand, Talent On Line can offer a unique collection of performing artists from both countries to give you a wider variety of options and broader perspective on what's possible to make your event something truly unique.

Our team has supported a host of event management, advertising and public relations companies in providing entertainers for their events and promotional campaigns. We pride ourselves on our discretion and, on the day, becoming a translucent part of your company with no private promotion of ourselves which might jeopardise your relationship with your client.

Our Goals

Here at Talent On Line we have two main goals. For our venues, event co-ordinators, festival directors and corporate clients we aim to bring you the most suitably qualified performers to fit any particular event theme or purpose at the most affordable rates and with efficiency and care.

For the performing artists on our books, we want to offer you the best agency service in the country with clear, detailed information you need for each job, booking updates as soon as they come in and a quick, efficient payment service.

History

Originally set up by Albert and Annabelle McGough-Drumm, Talent On Line began promoting Australian and New Zealand performing artists on the internet in 1995 and are now well entrenched in the most popular search engines in the world. In July of 2010 Samantha Shanahan who ran the New Zealand office took over the reigns as Managing Director as Annabelle changed career paths and now is a life coach to creative professional high flyers who value her knowledge and wisdom. She now owns Kitegirl Coachand Kitegirl Apps. Give her a call if you need some career guidance!

Our site has a huge amount of visitors, mostly from Australia and New Zealand but many from Greater Asia, Arab nations and America as well, either wanting to book performers for their events and hotels or to book local entertainers for their conferences hosted here.

Over the years, some fantastic work has been offered to our entertainers... gigs from 1-night, 1000 guest shows to 6 month international contracts for musicians, dancers, actors and entertainers throughout Asia, USA and Europe. There's also the ongoing corporate work from local businesses as well as overseas companies visiting Australia or New Zealand... the list goes on.

We get a great kick out of finding the right acts for our clients and work for our performers, let us help you too.

Our Management

Sam started with Talent On Line in 2001 managing our Auckland branch and has built a long list of happy clients. In July of 2010 she took office took over the reigns as Managing Director. These years of experience as a booker and co-ordinator means she loves getting involved to understand what you are trying to achieve and can offer many creative ideas to help make your function or event a memorable one.

Sam's background is in professional performance work focusing on Musical theatre, International dance tours, corporate promotional work and day acting work for television and film.
